Payment Deadlines
There are several important deadlines to keep in mind. At the start of the Fall-Winter and Summer sessions, you must pay the minimum payment to register or defer to complete your registration. This is followed by the remaining balance deadline, with the final payment deadline falling at the end of each session. It is important to make timely payments to avoid incurring service charges.

Fall-Winter Registration Deadlines
Ensure you complete your Minimum Payment to Register payment on or before your division’s deadline, to ensure you stay enrolled in your selected courses. If you paid on or before the deadline, please allow 3 to 5 business days for the payment to appear on your ACORN invoice as it takes a few days for financial institutions to move the funds from your bank account to the University’s account.
If you have concerns about payments not appearing in ACORN by the deadline, bring a copy of your payment receipt to your divisional registrar’s office for assistance. To learn more about how the “Minimum Payment to Register” works, visit the Understanding Your Fees webpage.

Remaining Balance
Once your status has been changed to “Registered”, the next step is to pay any remaining fees on account by the appropriate deadline to avoid service charges.

Students registered in graduate Summer Start Programs are billed the annual tuition fees in the summer session.
These programs include M. Accounting and Finance (Year 1), M. Biotechnology, M. Environmental Science, M. Financial Economics, M.Sc. Health Policy, Mgt & Eval – System Leadership & Innov. Conc., M. Management & Professional Accounting (MMPA), M. Public Health in Indigenous Studies and M. Social Work.
