Holiday Closure

Please note that on Tuesday, October 7th, Client Services and the Office of Convocation will open at one hour later, at 2:00pm. For the Thanksgiving holiday, they will also close early at 3:00pm on Friday, October 10, and be closed all day on Monday, October 13.

Holiday Closure

Client Services, Transcripts and the Office of Convocation will be closed on Friday, August 1 and Monday, August 4 for Presidential Day and the Civic Holiday. They will be re-opening on Tuesday, August 5 (Client Services at 1:00pm and the Office of Convocation at 9:00am).

Convera Maintenance

Please note: Convera will be down for scheduled maintenance on Friday, August 15th, 2025, from 9:00pm – 5:00am EDT. If you are planning on using Convera for payments, please so do before 2:00pm EDT on August 15th to avoid payment delays.

Confirmation of Enrolment or Graduation

If you need to confirm to an organization that you are a registered student or are eligible to graduate, here is how you can request the appropriate letter.

Confirmation of Enrolment (COE): Most students can access the COE through ACORN.

Confirmation of Graduation: if you need a letter confirming that you are eligible to graduate, please contact your registrar’s office.

Verifying Official U of T Documents

Need to confirm the authenticity of a transcript, diploma, or letter? This section explains how to verify official documents issued by the university.

  • Degree Confirmation: Visit the Degree Confirmation site for more details. This service is for prospective employers and other educational institutions to verify the diploma of University of Toronto graduates.  
  • Transcript Verification: If you need assistance verifying the authenticity of a transcript, please submit a request in our Service Portal in the Get Help section.   
  • Confirmation of Enrolment Verification: If you need assistance with a Confirmation of Enrolment letter, please email: esverification@utoronto.ca.

Ontario and Non-Ontario Residency Fee Status
